We build AI for the work that matters

Complex industries run on expert judgement. We build systems that protect that judgement from being buried in administration.

Why we exist

We started with a question: why do the most capable people in an organisation spend so much time on tasks that do not require their capability?

Engineers compiling risk assessments from scattered documents. R&D managers reconstructing project histories for tax claims. Compliance officers manually cross-referencing regulations against project details.

These are cognitive tasks—they require attention, accuracy, and domain knowledge. But they do not require the judgement that makes experts valuable. They are necessary work, performed by people whose time would be better spent elsewhere.

We saw this pattern across industries. Construction. Technology. Manufacturing. Wherever complex, regulated work meets documentation requirements, the same problem emerges: skilled professionals doing administrative work because no adequate system exists.

So we built one.

The misallocation of expertise

Modern organisations face a paradox. They invest heavily in hiring experts—engineers, scientists, analysts—then consume their time with work that does not need expertise.

The cause is not inefficiency. It is a gap between what AI promises and what it delivers. General-purpose tools require customisation that never happens. Industry-specific solutions solve narrow problems but miss the broader workflow.

What is needed are systems built for specific, high-value problems: complex enough to matter, structured enough to automate. Systems that understand how regulated industries actually work.

That is what we build.

How we think about AI

Specific problems, not general platforms

We do not build AI that can do anything. We build AI that does particular things exceptionally well. Each platform addresses a defined problem where cognitive work consumes expert time without requiring expert judgement.

Augmentation, not replacement

Our systems handle data gathering, cross-referencing, and report generation. Humans handle decisions, exceptions, and judgement calls. We expand what experts can accomplish, not eliminate the need for expertise.

Integration, not disruption

We connect to existing systems rather than replacing them. Your data stays where it is. Your workflows remain familiar. The AI reads from your infrastructure and writes back structured outputs.

Transparency, not black boxes

Regulated industries cannot trust systems they do not understand. We show how our AI reaches its outputs, what data it uses, and where human review is required. Auditability is not optional.

Where we are headed

We believe the next decade will transform how knowledge work happens in complex industries.

Not through artificial general intelligence or autonomous systems, but through focused AI that handles specific cognitive tasks with reliability and transparency. Systems that let experts be experts, by taking on the administrative burden that currently consumes their time.

We are building the infrastructure for this shift. Starting with two platforms—Infrastructure Impact and R&D Organiser—we are proving that AI can work in regulated, high-stakes environments where accuracy matters and auditability is essential.

Our ambition is broader: to become the standard for AI in complex, regulated work. Wherever documentation requirements meet expert judgement, we want to be the system that connects them.

What we believe

Clarity over cleverness

Simple solutions that work beat sophisticated solutions that require explanation. We build systems that users understand and trust.

Substance over speed

We ship when the product is ready, not when the roadmap demands. In regulated industries, reliability matters more than velocity.

Honesty over optimism

We tell clients what our systems can and cannot do. Overpromising undermines the trust that complex industries require.

Outcomes over outputs

We measure success by the expert time we return, not the features we release. If the product does not change how work happens, it has not worked.

We are a small team with deep experience in AI, construction, and regulated industries. We have built systems at scale and worked in the environments we now serve.
